| 2010.02.21 Lenten Greetings from Dallas Young Adult Episcopalians! This week we welcome you to GAP on TAP, a meal and lecture with New Testament scholar Peter Walker, and as always, we invite you to come to Mass and a Meal on Sundays at 5:30pm. For more details, see below... Tonite 6:45pm: Free Meal at Law School with Peter Walker Dr. Peter Walker, an Oxford New Testament scholar and apologist, is going to be on campus presenting on “In the Steps of The Historical Jesus: Fact and Fiction”. We will have dinner, a presentation, and a Q& A time with Dr. Walker. We are hoping that this will be a good event for seekers, since it will be focusing on historical support for the New Testament.
GAP (Graduates and Professionals) on Tap is a place for Age 21+ to come and discuss the intersection of faith and real life, in the upper room at Snuffers in Preston Center. We will relax, unwind, and enjoy ourselves with a frothy beverage while talking about meaningful issues of faith and real life. THE SUBJECT we will discuss is "What's so bad about Sin: Interpreting the idea of evil for a postmodern culture". Tuesday Dinner: 5pm on Hillcrest by SMU This week is Bubbas! BIBLE STUDY and ALTERKNIT: Tue 6-8pm / alternates locations Tired of ordinary Bible studies where you get fidgety hands? Well, come to a Bible study that feeds your soul AND moves your hands! Knitting and Scripture: What a combination. Come for either or both. Will you be late? No problem! Don't know how to knit? No problem, we will teach you! Don't know much about the Bible? No problem, we got that too! Bring a Bible, and if you have some yarn and knitting needles, bring those too!

March 11 THU 7:30p: Taize Meditative Worship Taize is a worship style that is meditative, contemplative, and mystical. Come for an hour and un-plug from the world and plug into God through Taize worship. Come join us at 7:30p on Thursday! Let's Keep Canterbury Beautiful! [more] Please help keep Canterbury House beautiful by: 1. Throw away any trash you see. 2. Watch scuffing the floor by not dragging stuff across it. 3. Label food that is stored in the fridge, or we will need to throw it out. 4. When you leave, turn out all lights, lock all doors, and leave through the chapel side doors. 5. And clean any gunk out of the sinks with a paper towel. These simple steps will ensure years of usage! Ever thought of becoming a Monk or Nun?
